Climate Existence 2010

CEMUS – The Centre for Environment and Development studies as part of CSD - Uppsala Centre for Sustainable Development – together with The Sigtuna Foundation welcome you to a conference dealing with the underlying moral, existential and psychological aspects of human and societal responses to climate change. This will be a follow-up conference to a similar successful venture held in Sigtuna in 2008.
The conference will last for three days and during that time we will not only be listening to inspiring keynotes and participating in rewarding workshops, but also listen to poetry, music and enjoy social events.
Confirmed keynotes and guests include writer and environmentalist Bill McKibben, ecologist David Abram, professor Harald Welzer, astrophysicist Bengt Gustafsson, cultural anthropologist Mikael Kurkiala, researchers David Kronlid, and Petra Hansson, from Uppsala University and Sigurd Bergmann, NTNU, Trondheim as well as many others.
