Is religion sustainable?
Tid: Torsdag 22 april kl 18.45 – 20.00
Seminarium på Vetenskapsfestivalen i Göteborg
Plats: Domkyrkan, Västra Hamngatan (Obs Inställt! Cancelled!)
Due to the volcanic ash spreading over Europe we unfortunately have to cancel the talk by Tina Beattie "Is religion sustainable?" Thursday 18.45.
På grund av askmolnet över Europa måste vi tyvärr ställa in föredraget av Tina Beattie "Is religion sustainable?", torsdag 18.45.
In a multicultural and global world with many religions existing side by side, and in a world where atheistic movements advertise their beliefs on buses and billboards, we explore the future of religion. Is religion sustainable? And if so, what will religion be like in a sustainable future?
Tina Beattie is Professor of Catholic Studies at Roehampton University in London. After her lecture there will be a panel discussion with Dr. Alf Linderman, Director of the Sigtuna Foundation, and Dr. Kerstin Alnebratt, Director of the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research, University of Gothenburg.
Moderated by Docent Anne-Louise Eriksson, Head of Research, The Church of Sweden.
